2009 Phoenix Film Festival Celebrity Guests
Virginia Madsen will be at the Festival, Saturday, April 4 at 7:30pm with
a screening of her documentary "I Know a Woman Like That". 
Join Bill Engvall at "A Conversation with Bill Engvall" at Sunday,
April 5 at 5:00pm for clips from his career, a discussion, a screening
of his new short film "Cowboy Dreams" and an opportunity for
the audience to ask questions. 
Morgan
Spurlock will be in attendance in support of the Late Nite Opening Night
Film, “Hi My Name Is Ryan”. Following the film he’ll
participate in the Q&A session. 
Yeardley Smith (The Simpsons) will be attending the Festival on Saturday,
April 4th for a screening of her new film "Waiting for Ophelia"
at 9:15pm.

"The Poker Club" on Friday April 3rd at 7:40pm.

Billy Zane at the Closing Night Event with his new film “Love N Dancing”
on Thursday, April 9th at 7:30pm. 
Closing
out the film festival will be the Arizona premiere of “Love N Dancing”
starting Amy Smart, Tom Malloy and Billy Zane. Billy Zane and Tom Malloy
will participate in a discussion after the film.
The
Opening Night Film is “The Answer Man” starring Jeff Daniels
and Lauren Graham and premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. Following
the screening there will be a Q&A with director John Hindman. 
The Arizona Premiere of 500 Days of Summer will be Wednesday, April 8th
at 7:20. See this offbeat comedy before it's released this summer by Fox
Searchlight. It stars Joseph Gordon Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. 
The World Premiere of Official Rejection will be Saturday, April 4 at
7:00pm. Official Rejection is a behind the scenes look at the world of
film festivals. It features interviews with Kevin Smith, Jenna Fisher,
Andy Dick, Chris Gore,
The Merry Gentleman will be having it's Arizona Premiere at the 2009 Phoenix
Film Festival. The film is directed by Michael Keaton and stars Kelly MacDonald
and Michael Keaton. The film will screen Sunday, April 5th at 7:00pm. 
Jolene
screen Friday, April 3rd at 7:30pm at the 2009 Phoenix Film Festival.
The film was made locally and produced by Riva Yares and stars Chazz Palminteri,
Dermot Mulroney, Theresa Russell, Denise Richards and Jessica Chastain.
Disney's
latest feature film "Earth" will screen on Saturday, April 4th
at 4:00pm. The documentary which is family friendly is narrated by James
Earl Jones.
